Andrea has experience working with the businesses in the extractives, agricultural, and tourism sectors, as well as working on landscape scale conservation and development in Africa and is part of the cadre of people creating the new generation of business models which have at their core a regenerative relationship with nature and society. Some of her early work with IUCN focused on sustainable financing for protected areas and most recently she has returned to this in her work with African Protected Area Directors and the African Protected Areas Congress organizing committee to shape out A Pan-African Conservation Trust as a concept for securing sufficient and steady flows of funding for all of Africa’s 8,600 protected and conserved areas.
