María Luisa Hernández is the RedLAC and Development Coordinator at the Forever Costa Rica Association. She is a Fulbright Scholarship recipient and has a Master’s Degree in Public Administration focused on Leadership of Nonprofit and International Organizations from the Maxwell School at Syracuse University, New York. She has more than 13 years experience working in international organizations, private companies and NGOs, such as Bayer, the United Nations Mandated University for Peace, and the Organization of American States (OAS). She has taught courses on social innovation and strategic planning and facilitated workshops on leadership and conflict resolution for nonprofitorganizations. María Luisa has undergraduate degrees in Business Administration and International Politics, is passionate about public participation, sustainable development and nature, and is fluent in Spanish, English, German, Portuguese and Italian.
