Position: Coordinator and Manager of the first environmental trust fund of Mediterranean MPAs.

Romain Renoux was for several years committed to ocean conservation as former manager of Marine Protected Areas and former president of the French Marine Protected Areas’ Managers Network.

Engaged in innovative financial mechanisms’ development, he joined the Principality of Monaco 4 years ago to coordinate and manage the first environmental trust fund dedicated to Mediterranean MPAs. This initiative was launched in 2015 by the Principality of Monaco, France, Tunisia with the support of the Foundation of Prince Albert II.
